[ What is DS[Careers]? ]
A job board that pulls open roles from space and defence company career pages into one place, so you don't have to check each one by hand.
[ Why the focus on Europe? ]
Company-wise, “Europe” here means companies primarily active in the EEA, the UK, Switzerland and the Balkans — roughly where a work visa is easier to get and continental relocation is realistic. Some international companies and countries are still refreshed and stay available under the Global filter, but the focus, and the default view, is said region of Europe. Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Moldova and Turkey are acknowledged aspart of the European continent too, but geopolitical uncertainties often make them unsuitable for the general job search. That moved us to define them to sit outside of our main “Europe” filter, which shall not be read as a motive to systematically disparage these countries.
[ Where does the data come from? ]
Each company's own public career page or applicant tracking system (Greenhouse, Lever, Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Personio and many others), or a company's own listings page for sources without a public API.
[ How often is it updated? ]
“Live” means it reflects the most recent refresh, not a real-time push. Companies are checked on a schedule; the Statistics page shows when each one was last checked.
[ Which bot visits employer pages, and how can an employer opt out? ]
The listings are read by a small program that calls itself DSCareersBot and gives this site’s address and a contact mailbox in its user agent. It runs from GitHub’s servers, looks at each company at most once an hour (large career sites every six hours), reads only public listing pages and never logs in anywhere. If you represent an employer and want the visits to stop or your listings taken off the board, email info.dscareers@proton.me and we will do that.
[ Why do I see US or Asia-based roles if this is a Europe-focused board? ]
Every open role from a tracked company is kept, just classified by region. Roles outside Europe are one filter away — switch to Global, or pick a specific country under Advanced.
[ How is the experience level worked out? ]
It's read from the listing text when it is refreshed: an explicit range like “5+ years”, or an estimate from cues like “several years of experience” or a senior/junior title. A ~ in front of a value marks an estimate.
[ Can I apply through DS[Careers]? ]
No. Every Apply button opens the employer's own listing, and applications happen there. We don't collect applications, résumés, or accounts.
[ Is DS[Careers] affiliated with the companies listed? ]
No. It's an independent, non-commercial project. See the Terms page for the full disclaimer.
[ I found an outdated or incorrect listing — who do I tell? ]

[ Do you track visitors or require an account? ]
No accounts, no logins, no cookies, and no analytics or ad tracking. Your browser may keep small, local preferences like your theme choice, which never leave your device. Details on the Privacy page.
[ Is this free? ]
